• We do not collect personal data on our users beyond what is strictly necessary to operate your account (e.g., your phone number or email address for login).
• We do not work with third-party data vendors. We do not buy, sell, trade, or enrich any personal data. No data brokers. No ad networks. No data partnerships.
• We do not sell anonymous data. We do not sell mobile device IDs, behavioral profiles, or any other user-linked identifiers — anonymous or otherwise.
• We do not target ads based on your activity. Your prayers, your readings, your community interactions — none of it is used to serve you ads or sold to anyone who would.
• We do not share data with advertisers or marketing platforms. Your spiritual life is not a data point.

What We Do Collect

Anonymous Usage Data

We collect anonymous, aggregated usage data strictly to improve the Seek experience. This includes:

• Which features are used most frequently
• General app performance metrics (load times, crash reports)
• Aggregated reading and engagement patterns

This data is used exclusively to make Seek better for our community. It is never sold, shared with third parties, or linked back to individual users.

Account Information

To create and maintain your Seek account, we store:

• Phone number or email address
• Display name
• Profile information you choose to provide

This information is used solely for account authentication and in-app identification within the community.

User-Generated Content

Content that you upload to Seek in the form of video is considered public within the Seek community. By uploading video content, you grant Seek a perpetual, worldwide license to use that content within the Seek app, on the Seek website, and in Seek marketing materials.

You retain ownership of your content. This license covers display and promotional use only.

Children's Privacy

Seek does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we will remove it promptly.

Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect the limited data we do store. Account credentials are encrypted. Anonymous usage data is aggregated and cannot be traced to individual users.

Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will notify users through the app and update the date at the top of this document. We will never change our core commitment: your data is yours, not ours to sell.

Many faith-based apps have been found to collect and sell user data — including religious affiliation, prayer content, marital status, income, and political affiliation — to third-party advertisers. One major prayer app leaked 10 million user records. Another was rated "Privacy Not Included" by Mozilla.

We built Seek to be different. Your faith life is between you and God, not between you and an ad network.
